Putin talk to NSA’s :
Putin told the visiting NSAs: “I know that this meeting become a tradition and devoted to a very important issue in Afghanistan. Obviously, there is a lot of potential for conflict in the world today. There are many conflicts here, not far from Russia, including on the Ukrainian track.”
“We are well aware and we realise this perfectly well. But this does not reduce the significance of the situation in Afghanistan. This has always been important for us and now it is important more than ever. Because we do not want more points of tension on our southern borders,” he said.
“Unfortunately, since the American armed forces fled Afghanistan, the situation has not improved. International terrorist organisations are stepping up their activities, including al-Qaeda which is building up its potential,” Putin said.
“We are particularly concerned about attempts to use the circumstances in Afghanistan. To give non-regional forces permission to develop or establish their infrastructure. These nations will develop this under the guise of fighting global terrorism. But they are not making any genuine counterterrorism-related efforts, he told the NSAs.
“We can see that the country’s position is not getting better. The plight of the human race is getting worse. Humanitarian help urgently needed by millions of people, or around 4 million individuals. Unfortunately, the fields are expanding along with the drug trade. According to him, Afghanistan is the source of 80% of the opioids sold worldwide.
Although the problem is extremely complex, we are making every effort to find answers. We have made touch with Kabul’s government officials. We are aware that there are plans to carry out significant economic initiatives that may help to stabilise the economy. According to Putin.
