Turkey refuses arms to Pakistan amid New Delhi-Islamabad tensions: Report

Turkish President with Pakistani Prime Minister

Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack, reports emerged claiming that Turkey was supplying arms to Pakistan. Allegedly, a Turkish C-130E Hercules landed in Karachi to deliver military equipment, with some media outlets suggesting that up to six such planes arrived in Pakistan.

However, Turkey swiftly rejected these claims. According to Türkiye Today, the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications clarified that the cargo plane had only landed in Pakistan for refueling purposes. Turkish authorities also took to social media to deny the reports, asserting that the claim of sending six planes full of weapons was untrue.
