FBI: U.S. teen killed parents to fund Trump assassination plot

A teenager from Wisconsin, initially charged with killing his parents, now faces more serious allegations revealed in an unsealed federal warrant. Authorities claim he committed the murders to obtain money to fund a plot to assassinate President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government.

17-year-old Nikita Casap was charged last month with first-degree murder and theft and other related crimes in the deaths of his mother Tatiana Casap, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer.

It was alleged that Casap shot them to death at their residence outside Milwaukee in February and lived with the decomposing bodies for weeks before absconding with USD 14,000 cash, passports and the family dog. In March, authorities arrested him from Kansas.

Drone, explosives, sharing plans with a Russian speaker 

Authorities have charged the teenager with planning his parents’ murders, purchasing a drone and explosives, and sharing his plans with others, including a Russian speaker. A three-page antisemitic manifesto, praising Adolf Hitler and outlining his intentions, was also found. The warrant includes excerpts of his communications on TikTok and Telegram.

Police say he was in contact with others to kill the U.S. President

A search warrant revealed that Casap allegedly wrote a manifesto calling for the assassination of the U.S. President. He had communicated with others about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government. The document also suggested that Casap murdered his parents to gain the financial resources and independence needed for his plan.

In court, prosecutors claimed Casap had contacted a Russian-speaking individual and discussed fleeing to Ukraine. Casap was found in Kansas with money, passports, a car, and the dog. Prosecutors say his manifesto planned to kill Trump, flee to Ukraine, and collapse the government.
