Ananya Panday has been summoned again today for questioning in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case in which Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested earlier this month.
This is the third time the actress has been summoned for questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Annanya was first summoned reportedly on the basis of two-year-old WhatsApp chats found on Aryan Khan’s phone, details of which had earlier been leaked by the anti-drugs agency.
Agency sources have indicated she was called in again because her answers are unsatisfactory.
The NCB has also raided her home in Mumbai’s Bandra area and seized her electronic devices.
The NCB official, sources said, gave an earful to Ananya for reaching late to their Mumbai office. She was told that this is not a film shoot, or a production house, sources added.
The NCB had allegedly retrieved her chats with Aryan Khan regarding drugs from the his phone during its investigation, which the agency is believed to have submitted in the special court that rejected Khan’s bail.
The NCB has claimed to have found chats between Aryan Khan and Annanya Panday related to drugs.
Ananya’s name cropped up in the case after certain WhatsApp chats between her and Aryan Khan were allegedly found in the latter’s mobile phone, adding that earlier in the day, the NCB officials seized her mobile phone and laptop.
NCB sources have said, “At one point in the conversation between Aryan Khan and Ananya Pandey, Aryan was talking to Ananya about ganja. Aryan was asking if there could be some ‘jugaad’ to arrange the weed.”
To this, Ananya Panday replied, “I will arrange”.
When NCB showed this chat to Ananya Panday on Thursday during the questioning, she replied, “I was just joking.”

1) Who helped you procure these drugs as per chat?
2) Did you directly procure it from some peddler?
3) What was the amount of drug being procured on each occasion?
4) Since how long have you been consuming drugs with Aryan Khan?
5) Who were the others who consumed drugs with you?
6) What was the mode of payment to peddlers?
7) Was it through electronic payment transfer, wallet, or cash?
8) What was the location of the place where you met the peddler or supplier?
