India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) 4th Test Day, India chased down 328 in the fourth innings win the 4th Test to vs Australia and claim the series 2-1.
A counter-attack from Shubman Gill (91) set up a thrilling hour of play on either side of the Lunch break before Ajinkya Rahane joined Cheteshwar Pujara. Rishabh Pant (89*) was promoted to Number 5 as India looked to go for the win in the afternoon session. At Tea, India was 183/3, needing 146 to win in the final session. Pujara, after weathering numerous blows to the body, was given out LBW on the umpire’s call for 56. Pant carried on India’s charge towards a historic win in the last hour of the Test, hitting the winning runs with minutes remaining before the closing of play. Australia had not lost a Test at the Gabba in 32 years before this.
Minutes after India attained a famous series victory over Australia, regular skipper Virat Kohli on Tuesday said that whoever doubts this Indian team, needs to stand up and take notice of what the line-up is all about.

Kohli had also returned home after the first Test as he along with wife Anushka Sharma were expecting the birth of their first child. Kohli announced that they have been blessed with a baby girl on the very day when the Indian team played out of its skin to draw the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
