The Border Security Force (BSF) deployed along the international border of India-Pakistan will increase its vigil on the border from today. Officers are also stationed at the border near the barricades, encouraging the soldiers along with them and vigilance will be maintained.
According to reports, the operation alert on the border is being started today. Due to which the vigil will be increased on the border. Operation Alert, which started from January 21, will continue till January 27.
The BSF will remain on alert mode for Republic Day. These days, extreme effects of winter are seen in the border areas. In the winter season, these areas are covered in dense fog from late night to morning. By taking advantage of this fog, terrorists try to sneak across the border. So vigilance is maintained by BSF as part of Operation Alert.
BSF officers are continuously patrolling through vehicles near the fencing in the border area. Camel patrolling is also increased during this time. This process is done in operation alerts over patrolling and patrolling on normal days. Apart from this, hoof checking is also speeded up during this time.
According to sources, the BSF’s Intelligence Wing at the border is also active during Operation Alert. Apart from this, BSF also keeps pace with other intelligence agencies, and every suspicious activity is monitored.
