    Actor Vivek Oberoi made a powerful debut with films like Company and Saathiya, showcasing his versatility by effortlessly portraying both the boy-next-door and a feared gangster. Though it seemed he was destined for lasting success, Bollywood’s unpredictable nature often undermines talent and dedication. Despite delivering successful films, Vivek experienced a career slump, spending extended periods away from the spotlight. However, he always had a backup plan. Now, 22 years later, Vivek is a thriving entrepreneur, managing multiple businesses across various industries while continuing his journey in films.

    Vivek Oberoi : Chose Financial Independence After Facing Setbacks

    Reflecting on the challenges he faced in the Hindi film industry, Vivek said that “In his 22-year career, he has worked on about 67 projects, but the industry is a highly insecure place. You can be excelling, winning awards, and fulfilling your role as an actor, yet still find yourself without work for reasons beyond your control. After Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007, where the Ganpat song went viral and he received accolades, he anticipated a wave of new opportunities but none came. I ended up sitting idle for 14 to 15 months.

    Vivek on Life Lessons

    Currently, Vivek has three films in the pipeline and is promoting his firm Solatrio that sells lab-grown diamond jewelry. But sharing one lesson he has learned through his 22-year long journey in Bollywood, the actor says, “he was stressed about so many things, took so much tension . Life finds its way to sort it out, there is a karmic score you do good, you will get that back if you do bad, you will receive it too. Somebody may seem very successful and important, but inside he could be empty, sad, and lonely, that’s their score.
