What will travel look like for Indians in 2025

As we move into 2025, the tourism scene for Indians is set to evolve further, influenced by changing preferences and new trends. Here are five major tourism trends that may shape how Indians journey across domestic and international destinations this year. With 2024 planting the seed of mindful travel, this year is likely to witness it in full bloom. AI = Automated Travel Itinerary

According to Skyscanner’s data, 84% of Indian travelers feel confident using AI tools for trip planning and booking. Among them, 52% rely on AI for destination research, 50% for booking flights, 48% for comparing options, and 46% for traveling inspiration. Sanjiv Agarwal, Founder & CEO of Fairfest Media and organizer of OTM, shares this perspective. He states, “As we enter 2025, artificial intelligence will revolutionize the traveling industry. Over time, technology will enable highly personalized travel experiences, offering recommendations tailored to individual preferences and past behavior.”
