    To qualify for this assistance, women must be permanent residents of Maharashtra and fall within the age range of 21 to 65 years. Additionally, the scheme targets women from households with an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the financial stability and self-reliance of women in the state.

    3. Aadhar Linkage: It is recommended that applicants link their Aadhar cards to their bank accounts to facilitate smooth verification and fund transfer.

    • Immediate Financial Aid: The scheme has already provided Rs 3,000 to over 3 million women during its trial phase.
    • Annual Cost: The initiative is anticipated to cost the state government around Rs 46,000 crore each year.
