Despite the formation of a committee by the Railways Ministry to gather complaints of Railway job aspirants across the country. Student union AISA and other youth organizations have called for “Bihar bandh” on January 28.
In a press statement, AISA General Secretary and MLA Sandeep Saurav along with others accused the government. And said that the committee is a “conspiracy” to postpone the matter till the elections in Uttar Pradesh ended.
The aspirants are disappointed with the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result and called it a ‘hoax’. They said that their movement happened to take place at a time when elections are approaching in Uttar Pradesh, owing to which, the government and Railways Ministry have come forward.
“There is no doubt on the questions being raise by the candidates. This massive movement of student youth, who are facing extreme unemployment, has arisen at a time when there is an election in UP.
Under the pressure of this, this proposal of the Government and Railways has come and a conspiracy hatched to postpone the matter till the elections. they said.
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Wednesday urged railway job aspirants ‘not to take the law into their hands. And asked all RRB chairmen to gather complaints from students and submit a comprehensive report to the committee.
The Ministry had indefinitely postponed RRB NTPC and Level 1 Exam 2021 in the wake of the protest.
The candidates can lodge their concerns and suggestions to the committee at rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in, the railways has said.
