US Stresses Support for Fair Legal Processes Amid Kejriwal’s Arrest

He emphasized that the US advocates for “fair, transparent, and timely legal processes” concerning these matters. “Regarding your initial inquiry, I won’t discuss any private diplomatic dialogues, but our public stance aligns with what I’ve just stated: we support fair, transparent, and timely legal proceedings. We believe nobody should oppose that,” he remarked.

Mr. Kejriwal was apprehended last week by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), becoming the third Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, following Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, to be detained in connection with the alleged liquor policy scandal.
