Speculation has grown over whether Gadkari is being sidelined by the BJP leadership. Last month, the RSS pushed the BJP to work closely with Gadkari, believing his leadership is crucial for strong electoral performance in the state. The RSS’s joint general secretary, Atul Limaye, who acts as a coordinator between the RSS and the state BJP. Held meetings with both Gadkari and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to discuss strategies for the elections.
