    Elon Musk has consistently supported US President-elect Donald Trump, a fact highlighted once again when he joined a call between Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Trump, as reported by The Information. Pichai had called Trump to congratulate him on his recent victory over Kamala Harris in the US Presidential Election.

    Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has frequently been involved in calls with global leaders, where he has provided insights and recommendations on key personnel decisions.

    His close relationship with the President-elect has earned him the nickname “First Buddy,” highlighting his influential role in their association.

    Musk and the President-elect have been publicly seen together on multiple occasions, including high-profile events like the launch of the SpaceX Starship rocket and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight bout held on November 16, showcasing their camaraderie and shared interests.

    Elon Musk will lead the new ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ under Trump’s administration, a role hinted at during the campaign. Musk will co-head the department with Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian-American entrepreneur. Trump praised both leaders, saying, “They will help eliminate government bureaucracy, reduce regulations, cut wasteful spending, and reform federal agencies—key goals of the ‘Save America’ movement.”

    During his victory speech, Donald Trump called Elon Musk “an amazing guy” and a “new star,” emphasizing his rising influence. Trump mentioned that Musk spent two weeks campaigning in Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, to support his campaign. This acknowledgment underscored Musk’s significant involvement in the election and his close connection to Trump.

    The pair spent election night at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. They closely monitored the results as Trump returned to the Oval Office after four years.
