The 9th edition of the Global Tech Summit (GTS) is all set to take place in the national capital from April 10 to 12, bringing together some of the brightest minds from across the world. The event will be inaugurated by External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, who will deliver the opening address during the summit’s inaugural session.
Established in 2016 and headquartered in New Delhi, Carnegie India is part of a global network of over 170 scholars. As per an MEA press release, the summit aims to unite policymakers, industry experts, academics, and civil society leaders to explore innovation, resilience, and global collaboration in technology.

Theme of this year’s Global Tech Summit
The theme for this year’s Summit is “Sambhavna” — a Hindi word meaning possibilities. It will focus on how emerging technologies can be harnessed to promote inclusive growth, strengthen digital governance, and foster cross-border partnerships.

Agenda of the Summit
The Global Technology Summit 2025 will host 150+ speakers from 40+ countries over three days, covering key issues like AI, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and tech collaboration in the Global South. It will also spotlight young voices through the GTS Young Ambassadors program, the MEA announced.
