    How the US assisted Israel in defending against Iran’s attack

    “Let there be no doubt. The United States is completely and unequivocally behind Israel,” President Joe Biden stated on Tuesday after Iran launched an unprecedented barrage of 180 missiles at Israel, marking a significant escalation in Middle East tensions. His strong statement echoed the coordinated US-Israel efforts to anticipate and respond to the Iranian assault. According to Tel Aviv, many of the missiles were intercepted with the help of american agencies and missile destroyers in the area, averting any casualties.

    US Warns Iran of Severe Repercussions, Credits Joint Efforts with Israel in Countering Missile Attack

    Amerixan National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan described the Iranian attack as a “major escalation” and cautioned Iran of “serious repercussions,” stating, “We will collaborate with Israel to ensure that happens.” Sullivan credited the Israeli military’s professionalism for their response, while also emphasizing the vital role played by the american military’s expertise and thorough joint planning leading up to the attack. He added that the american would remain vigilant, closely monitoring any future threats or attacks from Iran and its allied forces.

    How America helped Israel

    US President Joe Biden directed the american military to aid Israel’s defence against Iranian attacks and shoot down missiles targeting Israel, the White House said. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were monitoring the attack from the White House situation room and receiving regular updates. According to the Pentagon, the american fired about a dozen interceptors at the barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles fired at Israel. “During the attack, the american military coordinated closely with the Israeli Defence Forces to help defend Israel,” Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Pat Ryder said.
