    Sena (UBT) MP mocks Pak’s Seema Haider, ‘behen’ Mary Millben for hailing CAA

    On Monday, Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi ridiculed Pakistani national Seema Haider and African-American singer Mary Millben for supporting India’s notification of the rules for implementing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Chaturvedi questioned why Seema Haider was celebrating the move since she wasn’t a persecuted minority from Pakistan.

    Seema Haider, who entered India unlawfully with her four children last year and currently resides in Greater Noida, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision and expressed optimism that the CAA would assist her in obtaining Indian citizenship.

    Haider expressed her joy and appreciation for the Indian government’s implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in the country. She commended Prime Minister Modi for fulfilling his promises and stated that she would remain grateful to him for the rest of her life, continuously expressing her thanks. This statement was made in a video message where she was accompanied by Sachin and three out of her four children.

    “I extend my congratulations to my brother advocate A P Singh on this joyful occasion for his efforts, as now the legal barriers related to my citizenship will also be resolved with this law,” expressed the Pakistani national.
