Space, Sea Should Be Subjects of Cooperation, Not Conflict: PM Modi

In his address at a Special Session of the Parliament of Guyana, PM Modi also highlighted India’s approach, stating that the country has “never moved forward with selfishness and an expansionist attitude.” He assured that India has always refrained from seeking to seize resources from others.

Historic Visit to Guyana

PM Modi, who is on the final leg of his three-nation visit, is the first Indian head of state to visit Guyana in over 50 years. His arrival underscores the strengthening of bilateral relations between India and Guyana.

Global South’s Role in Shaping New Global Order

Addressing the need for a new global perspective, PM Modi called for the “awakening of the Global South” and urged its members to unite in the creation of a new global order. He stressed that the current world situation is not for conflict, but for identifying and eliminating the conditions that lead to it.
