    Report suggests possible relocation of 2nd Test between India and Bangladesh from Kanpur

    According to a report by India Today, a senior official from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Has confirmed that the second Test between India and Bangladesh will remain at Kanpur despite threats of protests. The match is scheduled to be held at Green Park in Kanpur on September 27. Concerns arose after Hindu Mahasabha issued a threat to protest against the Bangladesh cricket team over alleged violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. However, a BCCI source stated that there are no plans to move the match, which will proceed as scheduled.

    According to a source who spoke with India Today, authorities are closely monitoring the situation concerning potential protests. The source confirmed that all necessary preparations are in place for the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park, Kanpur. The stadium is ready to host the match, and there are no current plans to move it. The situation in Kanpur and at other potential venues will continue to be closely observed.

    Meanwhile, Bangladesh batter Litton Das revealed that the team is adjusting to using SG cricket balls for their upcoming two-Test series against India. The SG ball, known for its prominent seam, presents different challenges compared to the Kookaburra, especially as the ball wears. Das noted that the SG ball becomes harder to play against as it ages, contrasting with the Kookaburra, which becomes easier to handle over time.

    Bangladesh to face new challenge with SG ball in upcoming Test series against India

    Bangladesh is coming off a historic Test series win in Pakistan and is preparing for a new challenge against India. Unlike their previous series where they used the Kookaburra ball. Bangladesh will now face the SG ball, which differs significantly in behavior. The SG ball features a more prominent seam compared to the Kookaburra, which can affect play differently, especially as the ball ages. Litton Das noted that while the Kookaburra ball becomes easier to handle as it wears. The SG ball becomes more challenging.
