It seems that the franchises were waiting for the India Cricket Team’s Australia tour to end. On Wednesday evening, Indian Premier League teams notified their players’ list and informed who they have released and retained for the 14th edition of the cash-rich league.
The current Champion Mumbai Indians have retained many players as most of them have contributed last season. They would be a strong side for this season too. Meanwhile, along with veteran bowler Lasith Malinga, the Chennai-based franchise CSK released Kedar Jadhav, Piyush Chawla & Harbhajan Singh, too. Star-studded RCB, on the other hand, released ace bowler Dale Steyn, while IPL 13 finalist Delhi Capitals released most of the youngsters.
