    A Bovelander hockey foundation in the Netherlands will train instructors

    Top Dutch hockey trainers have been recruited for the programme. By 2025, the charity hopes to have taught hockey to 3,000 youngsters.

    A HOCKEY FOUNDATION IN THE NETHERLANDS On Sunday, the state inaugurated a programme to train hockey instructors. These coaches will teach children hockey from the ground up.

    The Olympic gold medalist Floris Jan Bovelander formed the Bovelander Foundation, which started the Maharashtra Grassroots Hockey Program, which intends to educate 24 hockey coaches in Pune, Pimpri, Kedgaon, and Phaltan. These instructors will provide hockey instruction to around 600 youngsters aged 10 to 14 from 12 schools.

    For the programme, top hockey trainers from Netherland have been roped in.The foundation aims to teach hockey to 3,000 students by 2025.
