    ICC World Cup 2023: Full list of rescheduled matches and new dates & timings

    ODI World Cup 2023: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a few changes in the schedule for the upcoming ODI World Cup. The cricket governing body rescheduled 9 matches including the marquee India vs Pakistan clash which is now moved a day before to October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

    Apart from the India-Pakistan match, details of eight other games have also been changed in the latest updated tournament schedule released on Wednesday.

    The date of India’s last league encounter against the Netherlands, a day-night match that will be played in Bengaluru, has been moved from November 11 to November 12, in addition to the game with Pakistan.

    ODI World Cup 2023: Afghanistan vs England Match Date Rescheduled to October 15

    Also, the match between Afghanistan and the reigning champions England at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi will now take place on October 15. Rather than the original date of October 14, as a result of the change in the schedule of the India-Pakistan match.

    As a result, the game between England and Afghanistan that was originally planned for October 14 will now take place on October 15.

    Also, other alterations to the original schedule include moving Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka from October 12 to October 10 in Hyderabad. Furthermore, moving South Africa’s match against Australia from October 13 to October 12 in Lucknow.

    The day-night encounter, rather than the initial day game, between New Zealand and Bangladesh will now take place in Chennai on October 13 instead of October 14, as originally planned. Instead of being a day-night match, England’s match versus Bangladesh in Dharamsala will instead take place on October 10.

    Towards the end of the league stage, there are three changes with the double-header encounters of November 12 being moved a day earlier to November 11 – Australia vs Pakistan in Pune (10:30 AM) and England vs Pakistan in Kolkata (02:00 PM). Meanwhile, India’s last league game against the Netherlands has now been shifted from November 11 to November 12, a day-night clash which is to be played in Bengaluru.
