The tragedy happened on Thursday morning; the youngster was playing cricket when he first experienced chest pain, after which he lost consciousness and passed away. The boy, who resided in the Wanawadi region, was a class eight student.
Vedant complained of chest trouble while playing cricket with his companion, according to the police report. His parents were informed, and while being transported to the hospital, he passed away. Cardiac failure was the cause of death, according to the autopsy report.
According to the police report, Vedant was playing cricket with his friends on Thursday morning when he suddenly developed chest pain. He contacted his father, who immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital in Wanowrie. However, the doctors referred Vedant to a private hospital in Fatimanagar due to his critical condition.
Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, Vedant passed away before treatment. The autopsy report conducted by medical experts confirmed that he died due to a cardiac arrest.
Bhausaheb Patare, senior police inspector of the Wanowrie police station, has stated that the police are investigating the case to determine the exact cause of the cardiac arrest.
The increasing rate of heart disease in people, especially young adults, has become a cause of concern in recent times. Experts suggest that changing lifestyles, including unhealthy eating habits, lack of physical activity, and stress, are major factors contributing to the rise in heart disease cases.
