    Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal has officially announced his retirement from tennis, concluding an illustrious career that includes 22 Grand Slam titles. In a heartfelt video shared on social media, the Spanish legend expressed his gratitude for the support he received throughout his journey.

Nadal, known for his unmatched grit and tenacity on the court, leaves behind a remarkable legacy, especially on clay, where he secured a record 14 French Open titles. His final tournament will be the Davis Cup finals this November in Malaga, marking a fitting conclusion to his storied career. Spain will face the Netherlands in the quarter-finals from November 19 to 21, with Nadal returning to the squad after recovering from an injury that sidelined him during the group stage.

In 2004, a young Nadal played a key role in helping Spain win the Davis Cup title, a moment he fondly recalled in his retirement announcement.
