Mumbai had a positive beginning with the bat, with openers Hayley Matthews and S Sajana forming a solid 43-run partnership. However, their innings quickly fell apart following an exceptional display of seam bowling by Perry.
Despite not taking any wickets in her previous four matches in the tournament, Perry aggressively targeted the stumps and generated movement in both directions with the ball.
