These notifications from Apple did not attribute the recent wave of attacks to any specific entity. However, in October last year, similar notifications were sent to Opposition leaders from various parties in India, including Congress’s Shashi Tharoor, AAP’s Raghav Chadha, and TMC’s Mahua Moitra. These warnings highlighted a “potential state-sponsored spyware attack” targeting their iPhones.
