    Founder of Bumble dating

Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of Bumble, believes her app could offer a solution for those who find dating challenging. Speaking at the Bloomberg Technology Summit, Whitney Wolfe Herd said that with the help of AI dating concierges, users could delegate the initial stages of dating to AI, which would interact with other AI concierges. This way, users wouldn’t need to engage with numerous people, such as the entire population of San Francisco.

Whitney Wolfe Herd highlighted that Bumble has been utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) well before it became a popular trend. Following the introduction of “Opening Moves,” a feature that allows women to send automated prompts to their matches, the company also launched an AI-powered deception detector designed to eliminate spam, scams, and fake profiles from the platform.

She explained that in the near future, users might interact with their AI dating concierge to discuss personal issues like recently going through a breakup or having commitment issues. This AI could then help users improve their self-perception and offer practical advice for better communication with others.

She stated that the app’s goal is to empower women by giving them control in the dating process, not to undermine men, but to improve how everyone interacts. She emphasized that their AI will adhere to these values, and they are committed to integrating AI rapidly and decisively.
