Poco M3, the follow-up to the Poco M2, is set to arrive in the upcoming month, according to tipsters. The M3 is set to be launched in the entry-level midrange segment at an affordable price. The company would be hosting a launch event on 21 January.
Tipster Mukul Sharma, in a tweet, said that the Poco M3 is expected to be launched in India in February. The phone has already been launched in China and comes in two variants.
In China, the Poco M3 comes in 4GB RAM, and the 64GB storage variant is priced at $149. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Poco M3 is priced at $169.
In India, the Poco M3 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage could be priced around Rs 10,870. The Poco M3 in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage could be priced around Rs 12330.
Poco M3 features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels. The display comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Poco device comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.34 percent.
Poco M3 runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.
The Poco device features a triple rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 48-megapixels with an f/1.79 lens and a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel with an f/2.4 macro lens. The rear camera setup also comes with a depth sensor of 2-megapixel with an f/2.4 lens.
The selfie snapper of the Poco M3 is an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an f/2.05 lens.
Poco M3 packs a 6,000mAh battery with fast charging support of 18W. The Poco device would be running on MIUI 12 based on Android 10, out of the box.
Connectivity features of the Poco M3 include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an Infrared (IR) blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone port. The Poco device storage can be expanded up to 512 GB via a microSD card.
