Reliance Jio has introduced that its video conferencing platform- JioMeet- is getting some helpful features to increase collaboration amongst enterprise customers.
The new software program options are focused at small companies and embody Breakout Rooms, Multi-Device Support, File Sharing, Inviting contributors whereas planning the conferences, and a number of video format choices.
Here is the list of new Nine useful features:
- ‘Breakout Room’ feature to support large meetings large conferences and businesses which need smaller groups within a large meeting
- Multi-Device support to ensure that users can use it from anywhere and anytime
- File sharing within the meeting allowing businesses to collaborate efficiently
- Video layout options allowing participants to arrange video into 9 grids or active speaker layout with possibility to pin a video

Details of New Updates:
Breakout rooms allow meeting organizers to interrupt large meetings and create separate rooms. Hosts can create small meeting rooms and assign people to different rooms. You also have the option of assigning participants to or moving in and out of the room as needed. The host can switch between different sub-meeting rooms.
In this release, JioMeet provides multi-device support for all users. Users can sign in to JioMeet on up to five devices at a time. Users can also join / start JioMeet meetings from multiple signed-in devices at the same time.
JioMeet users can now send and receive files instantly during a conference call, allowing users to collaborate more strongly and communicate effectively.
Users can now place the screen in the gallery view to display nine participants in a grid pattern.
With this release, organizers can also invite participants or groups (created with the JioMeet app) while planning a meeting.
If a participant is already in the host’s contact list, the meeting is automatically added to the JioMeet calendar.
Hosts planning a meeting can be invited: Contacts or groups, participants from outside your organization, and meetings are automatically displayed in the invitee’s JioMeet app while planning the meeting.
The user can now switch layouts within the meeting. Users can now place the screen in the gallery view to display nine participants in a grid pattern.
You can also arrange the screen in the active speaker view. In the active speaker view, the speaker video is centered and the other participants’ videos form an L-shaped screen.
There is also an option to “pin” the video of a particular participant, which is always available on the screen.
